??? Easter Egg Alert

🍬🐰🌺 Easter egg alert!🍬🐰🌺 .
In the book Elio talks about how Dante, Homer, Celan, Virgil and Leopardi are obligatory readings for everyone in Italy. Later, he cites Dante: "Amor ch'a null'amato amar perdona" "Love, which exempts no one who's loved from loving". That's a quote from 'Inferno', the first part of the epic poem 'Divine Comedy', the tale of a man travelling through Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, representing the soul's journey towards God. You guys know I looove reading into everything, so I think that maybe this was a nod to Elio's journey of self discovery and towards Oliver as well, since he said the quote while he was still figuring out his feelings for Oliver. Anyways, I blabbed this much just to say that we can see a copy of Dante's Divine Comedy on Papa's lap. That's the Easter egg! 😄 Also, Papa is giving some strong Italian lover vibes in this picture, if I may say so! 😂😂
