Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Be Mad If You Get Taken To Chipotle For A First Date
When it comes to planning a first date, choosing the perfect location can feel like something of an art form. Nowhere too fancy, nowhere too cheap, nowhere that requires a long commitment, but somewhere that still provides the opportunity to talk and get to know each other. With how much there is to consider, you might be understandably disappointed if your date chooses somewhere a little less trendy and a little more casual.
Turns out, maybe you shouldn't be. Mobile dating app Clover analyzed data from 200,000 users to see where people were going on first dates, and casual dining and chains seem to be where its at. The top hot spots? Starbucks, Chipotle, Panera, The Cheesecake Factory, and Texas Roadhouse. So if you think your date is cheap, he might just be...well, pretty average.
