Coca-Cola Criticised After 'Creepy As F***' Napkins Handed Out To Plane Passengers
Coca-Cola has been criticised by plane passengers for "creepy AF" napkins which were handed out on a flight.
The branded napkins were given to people flying with Delta Air Lines suggesting they make a move on their "plane crush".
The white design, which includes a red stripe and an image of a Diet Coke can, reads: "Because you're on a plane full of interesting people and hey... you never know.
"Be a little old school, write down your number & give it to your plane crush. You never know."
There is then space for people to write their names and phone numbers.
Many people have slammed the company for encouraging people to give out "unsolicited phone numbers" and to "gawk at people for hours".
Some even called for them to be removed from planes immediately.
Both companies have apologised for any offence caused by the napkins and they have been removed from planes.
A spokesman for Delta told INSIDER: "We rotate Coke products regularly as part of our brand partnership but missed the mark with this one.
"We are sorry for that and began removing the napkins from our aircraft in January."
A Coca-Cola spokesman added: "We sincerely apologise to anyone we may have offended.
"We worked with our partners at Delta to begin removing the napkins last month and are replacing them with other designs."
