Pretty Little Thing Shopper Posts Hilarious Picture Of Her 'Illegal' Swimsuit
A Pretty Little Thing customer has shared a hilarious picture of her "illegal" swimsuit - which arrived with barely enough material to cover her top half.
Maryn Salbris ordered the £16 Petite White Asymmetric Swimsuit from the popular fashion website to take on holiday.
But the 25-year-old from London was left scratching her head over what actually arrived - the very skimpy top half of what she thought was a one-piece.
The swimsuit is described by Pretty Little Thing as "perfect for all of those pool parties that you have pencilled into your vacay diary".
But it appears the main costume part was missing.
Realising that if she were to wear what had arrived she would end up in a police cell rather than at a pool party, Maryn complained online to the retailer, including a photo of the "swimsuit".
She wrote: "I'm a bit confused with what's happening here? I wished they were more clear that I was only getting a bandeau!"
Pretty Little Thing apologised online to Maryn for the blunder.
They tweeted her back saying: "I am extremely sorry to see this. Please do not worry, just DM us with your order number and we will look into this for you."
To make matters worse, Maryn also claims she was forced to pay £10 to have the incomplete swimsuit delivered in time for her trip.
Speaking today, the PR worker said: "For this delivery, the only choice I had if I wanted a next day delivery was to pay £10 for the next day delivery for a year, which I didn't want to do."
Pretty Little Thing has been contacted for a comment.
