This Unexpected Hobby Can Help You Last Longer In Bed
While not having the greatest online reputation, there's one thing hardcore gamers won't be ribbed about: a new study has found gamers are far less likely to finish early in the sack. (Don't game? Here are other ways to last longer in bed.)
Published in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, researchers administered questionnaires (specifically the Premature Ejaculation Diagnostic Tool and the International Index of Erectile Dysfunction) to nearly 600 male participants all between the ages of 18 and 50.
The results showed that those who played video games for at least one hour per day were less likely to experience premature ejaculation compared to those who didn't play games. But there's a downside – gamers were also more likely to report lower sexual desire.
The researchers concluded there's still a lot of room for improvement in studies in the fields of sexual health and video games, but said the first-of-its-kind results were encouraging.
