Wondering if you'll still want to climb your partner like a tree a decade from now? Chances are, you probably will. Premenopausal women report similar sexual activity, practices, and satisfaction to postmenopausal women, according to a new study in the Journal of Sexual Medicine.
Contrary to what some people think (we're looking at you, Miley), sex doesn’t stop after 40. Or after 50, for that matter. For this study, researchers looked at 277 postmenopausal women and 408 premenopausal women to see if there were any big differences in their between-the-sheets action. They found that the women were strikingly similar—even in terms of their wide range of sexual practices and how much importance they put on sexuality.
