What To Expect During Your Pregnancy In Week 10 For You And Baby

Your body is using all it’s energy to support you and baby during pregnancy week 10. 

Your Body

Tiredness is probably still persisting in pregnancy week ten.

Your body is continuing to change and adapt and this requires any extra energy you might have.

Getting as much sleep as possible is important at this time.

A little gentle exercise such as walking can actually give you a little and much needed energy boost.

Nausea is still common at this time.

Try not to skip meals as this can make it worse.

Your Baby

From week 10 until birth, the baby is called a fetus.

Size 3-5 cm

Prune

Your babies arms and legs are long now and bend properly at the elbows and knees.

The toes and fingers are free.

Babies face is much more baby like! The little tail at the end of the spine disappears.

The bones of the body start to form, starting off first as a softer cartilage.

Teeth buds, 10 top and bottom develop in the jaws in week 10.

These will continue to mature and will become the baby or milk teeth.
