=> COVID-19: How To Prevent => Unnecessary Stress <=
So we’ve all been receiving a surge of emails about coronavirus. This outbreak has been one heck of a test for how we deal with the associated stress in ourselves, our life and our relationships, right?
💕 To stay safe and healthy mentally as well as physically, it’s important to keep your stress hormones in check. This will help prevent relationship breakdown as well as keeping your immune system strong.
Here are 3 of my best tips for preventing unnecessary tension as you navigate the challenges associated with the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak - as well as life itself!
- Use your imagination to stay focused on how you want to be and feel - instead of how you don’t want to be and feel. How you focus your attention NOW has a direct impact on how you feel and how you communicate with others.
- Reset your focus when you find yourself starting to be, think or act negatively. It’s easy to get caught up in all the hype about CoV which can then make you feel emotionally triggered. When you catch yourself having negative thoughts about the current situation, reset your focus to what you can do right now to immediately improve your own state of mind.
- Be responsible for how you are allowing yourself to feel. Remember that this is a temporary situation and by supporting yourself mentally and emotionally you will get through it. Additionally, by focusing your attention on thoughts that make you feel calm, you will communicate a calm state to others and this helps everyone feel more connected.
💕 By consciously choosing to be present with your thoughts, and to act only from a place of calm, you will naturally feel more relaxed and positively focused. This has a direct result of empowering yourself and your life, as well as your relationships.
Use this time to focus your attention on strengthening and developing yourself as a person and working towards what you want.
